Jane Penn Brown is an award-winning artist who received her Bachelor of Fine and Applied Arts Degree from The University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. She has done graduate work at the The School of The Art Institute of Chicago and has studied with Rudolph Pen and Claude Bentley. She has exhibited in many art fairs and shows such as:
The Old Town Art Fair, West Burton Place Art Fair, Old Orchard Arts Festival, Suburban Fine Arts Festival, New Horizons in Painting, The Illinois State Fair Art Exhibit, Temple Beth El Festival of Art, Roosevelt University, New Trier High School, The 57th St. Art Fair, The Evanston Art Fair, Borders Book Store, The Greater Chicago Bank, and The One of a Kind Show at the Merchandise Mart.
She has won numerous awards including:

  • 1st prize: North Shore Art League Members Show
  • 1st prize: Skokie Art Fair
  • 2nd prize: West Burton Place Art Fair
  • 2nd prize: JCC Art Fair

She has been represented by The Chicago Art Institute Rental and Sales Gallery and the Chicago 200 Gallerie.

Her paintings are in many private collections throughout the United States and Europe.
